The Lance 2000 was manufactured from 1998 to 2007.

The new design was adapted from the concepts used in the Quantum. Although similar to the older Lance cabs, there are several changes. The motor compartment is smaller, providing more room inside. The "wing windows" are gone. The "split" has returned to the same location as the early Lance design, allowing for increased room in the tilting part of the cab. There is a wide cutout about two inches high between the grill and bumper to allow clearance for the cab to tilt.

The Lance 2000 was discontinued in 2007, having been replaced with the Velocity.
